Ripplewood had a beautiful evening at Snipes Farm! Our June 6th show marked our first full-scale appearance in the area—and what a welcome we received. With the grass under our feet and the stars above, the crowd of Grateful Dead fans brought the energy we were hoping for and more.
The “pseudo-acoustic” set featuring selections from Reckoning gave us the perfect chance to introduce the full band: Bob Musso, James Dalton, Sammy Flicker, Abe Speller, Danny Albi, David Dzubinski, Darilyn Avery, and myself, Jair-Rôhm Parker Wells. Every player brought the fire, and the chemistry between us was electric. We’re deeply grateful to the Snipes Farm community and everyone who came out for helping us plant the Ripplewood seed in the tri-state jam scene.
And now, we're thrilled to announce our next big show:
July 18th at The Rotunda – Anthem of the Sun + Fillmore '68 Late Show
Join us in Philadelphia at The Rotunda as we dive deep into the psychedelic heart of the Dead’s catalog. We’ll be performing the Anthem of the Sun album in full, as well as the legendary June 14, 1968 Fillmore East late show—a kaleidoscopic set that’s part of the origin story of live Dead magic.
We're honored to have Steve Taylor (The Fugs, Allen Ginsberg) opening the night with a set that promises poetry, power, and surprises. And this won’t just be a concert—it’ll be an experience: our friends at StageTrip are handling the staging and lights, bringing a full immersive sensory dimension to the music.
Ripplewood is just getting started, and the response so far has been humbling and energizing. We can’t wait to see you on the 18th. Come ride the wave.
