Hi folks, Jair-Rohm again!
I wanted to delve a little deeper into what makes Doom Dogs so unique: the art of improvisation. In our performances, we don’t follow set structures. We don't discuss the music - ever. We allow our musical instincts to guide us in real-time, pushing the boundaries of experimental rock, jazz and beyond. We aim to create something that is both unexpected and deeply engaging.
I play an NS Design electric upright and NS Design bass guitars, and enjoy adding rich, dynamic depth to our spontaneous compositions. I have also spent time working with bands like Machine Gun and the seminal German experimental band Embryo. Reeves, with his vast experience, brings an incredible array of sonic textures, and Jonathan's drumming gives us a foundation for our flights of fancy!
Each performance is a new exploration of musical ideas. We aren't just playing songs; we’re creating an experience with the audience, together. We can’t wait to explore these sonic boundaries with you at our upcoming shows! I love to geek out about gear so please don't be shy about approaching me after a show to talk pedals and stuff!
