The Convergence of Sonic Brilliance: Doom Dogs Unleashed!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to something truly special – Doom Dogs. This isn't just another band; it's a gathering of three unique musical forces, coming together to create something extraordinary. We're excited to be bringing our music to audiences again this year!

As you may know, I’m on basses, and joining me is the incredible Reeves Gabrels on guitars. You might recognize Reeves from his work with David Bowie, where he co-wrote, co-produced, and added his innovative guitar work to numerous acclaimed studio albums. He's also been with The Cure since 2012, continuing to captivate audiences with his artistry. With Reeves on board, the sonic possibilities are limitless.

We now have Jonathan Kane on drums, the heartbeat of Doom Dogs. Jonathan was a founding member of the influential band Swans and has worked extensively with the Minimalist composer La Monte Young. He was also the only drummer for Rhys Chatham's orchestra of 100 electric guitars! His drumming style is powerful and hypnotic, driving our improvisations with precision and intensity.

We're a genre-free improvising super group, and we aim to create spontaneous and enthralling musical moments that leave audiences in awe. Doom Dogs is more than just the sum of its parts; it's a place where different styles and ideas meet and make magic.
